Eton Institute Promotes Business Opportunities and Career Growth in the UAE through Effective Networking
Eton Institute is hosting a workshop to help participants develop their networking skills, facilitate job hunting and create more professional opportunities.
Dubai, November 30, 2014 – With the rise of globalization and the increase in global mobility, many business professionals are relocating to metropolitan cities in search of a better quality of life and career advancement. As an economic hub in the Middle East and an important gateway for trading between the East and the West, the UAE has become a popular destination for experienced professionals. With over 80% of the population hailing from 170 countries, it has one of the most competitive and dynamic markets in the world. Eton Institute, the UAE’s largest language and professional development training provider, in partnership with the French Business Council, is holding a workshop to help new-comers to develop their corporate network within the Middle East region.
“It’s all about people. It’s about networking, building relationships and not burning any bridges. Your resume is going to impress, but in the end it is people that are going to hire you,†commented Moaz Khan, Marketing Director at Eton Institute. According to a research by Forbes, up to 80% of jobs getting filled today aren’t advertised, as most hiring managers believe that the most suitable candidates are people who already work for the firm or through referrals. So how does one get to know about these hidden positions? The answer is, through building a network and cultivating relationships. “For example, our business collaboration with the French Business Council epitomizes the benefit of cooperation in the region,†Mr. Khan added.
Eton Institute’s workshop entitled “How to Develop Your Corporate Network in the UAE†will enable attendees to further understand and connect with different cultures instantly, and to learn the essential elements of network and referral marketing. Updated methods on creating a strategic plan will be provided according to individual and regional requirements. This one-day workshop will minimize risks of making mistakes in the business environment of the UAE.
The workshop is scheduled as follows:
Date: Sunday, December 7, 2014
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
