Press Release:
Eton Institute Encourages Leadership Development to Achieve Organizational Success
Inspired by the UAE’s unique leadership, Eton Institute bids to support organizations in the UAE to identify potential leaders, enhance their leadership effectiveness and drive businesses to success.
Dubai, January 26, 2015 – In today’s dynamic business environment, leadership development is considered a top skill for companies around the world. According to Deloitte’s Global Human Capital Trends 2014, 38% of respondents state that the need for global leadership is urgent, and 48% consider this trend ‘important’. The report also highlights the necessity to constantly develop leaders due to new challenges in the business environment, such as developing different generations of leaders, adapting to technological progress, innovating and constantly inspiring others to perform better.
While some leadership skills are inherited, research suggests that leaders can also be cultivated by acquiring skills through education and experience. As part of its ongoing commitment to support organizational success, Eton Institute, the UAE’s largest language and professional development training provider, is supporting leadership development for aspiring leaders through its Leadership Challenge® Workshop.
“In just 40 years, the UAE’s greatest leaders have transformed the nation, created a unique environment prone to success, and inspired the community to do the same,†commented Moaz Khan, Marketing Director at Eton Institute. “We actively promote up-to-date, inspirational leadership and believe that great leaders support people in achieving excellence. They have a clear vision of the organizational goals and the path to take to achieve these goals,†he added. The Leadership Challenge®, the globally-recognized model of leadership development, has discovered after 30 years of extensive research, five core universal behaviors of outstanding leadership. These behaviors were turned into five practices to be implemented in the daily tasks of aspiring leaders, at every level of an organization. Consistently measured and validated by the Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI), one of the most widely used leadership assessments, this practice has empowered over 1.8 million leaders globally.
The Leadership Challenge® workshop at Eton Institute will focus on the Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership that will help participants identify their leadership competencies, strengthen existing behaviors and create a clear plan to improve their overall effectiveness.
