Dubai, 17 April 2017 – Every year, the UAE sees a considerable rise in the number of visitors and residents. Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing recorded 14.9 million overnight visitors in 2016, a 5 per cent increase from 2015. This makes Dubai the 7th most popular world destination in terms of visitor arrival, according to Euromonitor International. The Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) reported that 4.4 million visitors checked into hotels in Abu Dhabi in 2016 compared with 4.1 million from the previous year.
