Press Release:
Eton Institute Gives Free Access to the Emirati Language to Coincide with the UAE Flag Day on November 3rd
Eton Institute’s Emirati Arabic PhraseApp will be available on Apple’s App Store for free for a period of 1 month starting 12 PM UAE time, to coincide with the UAE Flag Day and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s call to raise the UAE flag across the nation at 12 pm in unity.
Dubai, 2nd November 2014 – As part of an official initiative to show national unity and pride amongst the UAE residents, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President of UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, has called upon the people of the UAE to raise the nation’s flag atop private and public buildings, at twelve noon on November 3rd. On this occasion and in the run-up to the UAE National Day, Eton Institute, the UAE’s largest language and professional development training center, is making its Emirati Arabic Phrasebook App downloadable for free on iTunes, until the 4th of December.
As part of its ongoing commitment to promote language and cultural understanding, Eton Institute is celebrating the UAE’s culture and language through different initiatives. In addition to making the Emirati Phrasebook App a free download, Eton Institute will also be launching a free Emirati Cultural App, with key facts about the UAE’s history, heritage and culture. For individuals wishing to learn basic words in Arabic and acquire a better understanding of the Emirati culture, the institute will be offering a free introductory Arabic language course, starting on the 15th November. Following this, a free Emirati Arabic cultural evening will take place on 26th November at Eton Institute’s Dubai and Abu Dhabi branches, where participants will be able to learn about the rich Emirati culture, enjoy henna painting and taste local cuisine.
“Eton Institute is proud of the fact that it was born in the UAE and in a short span of time has grown both locally as well as internationally, where we now have branches across three different continents. This success would not have been possible without the vision, mission and the values that this country stands for and we take the opportunity to celebrate this nation through cultural awareness and language learning, to coincide with the UAE Flag Day and the National Day celebrations. We are providing an opportunity to everyone to learn more about the UAE and connect with the language and culture of the Emirates,†said Moaz Khan, Marketing Director at Eton Institute.
