29 Mar Eton Institute Nominated for the FEM Americas Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards 2017
Eton Institute is delighted to be shortlisted for the Forum for Expatriate Management Americas EMMA’s in two categories, for the second time in a row.
New York, 29th March 2017 – A research conducted by Employment Conditions Abroad (2016) estimated that 44% of the companies researched expected their expatriate employee population to grow in the next three years. Another study, by Transparency Market Research, put the spotlight on the exponential growth of the global enterprise mobility market, valued at $86.36 billion in 2014 and expected to rise to $510.39 billion by 2022. Consequently, as the number of mobile employees increases, the need for services that aid in the relocation of workers increases as well. Research has identified cultural and linguistic adaptation as two of the key barriers to successful mobility. Services such as language courses and cultural awareness workshops provide essential support for the employee to successfully integrate into the new environment.
The Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards (EMMA’s) are hosted by the Forum for Expatriate Management every year, and in different regions, to recognize the efforts and excellence of mobility programs upon individuals as well as businesses. Eton Institute is honored to be shortlisted for two categories, for the Americas EMMA’s 2017:
- Best Family Support Program
- Employee Benefits Services Provider of the Year
Alison Johnson, Business Development Director at Eton Institute, commented, “We are humbled to be nominated for the EMMA’s for the second time in a row. Learning a language and acquiring cultural intelligence are essential components of a successful relocation strategy. We aim to provide these services as a way to bridge the gap between people in terms of communication and cultural values, thus empowering them to put their best foot forward wherever they are in the world”.
Eton Institute’s flexible delivery methods, such as LiveOnline (virtual classrooms), self-study online courses and blended learning, provide custom-made content, developed according to the learner’s objectives for successful global mobility.
